Kevlar thread Features (Flame Retardant Thread):
1. High mechanical strength :
This product is made of Kevlar(Para-aramid), which is famous for its strength-to-weight ratio: "...5 times stronger than steel on an equal weight basis..."
2. Heat resistance:
Kevlar can be regularly used in 250°C without significant change of its properties. And, for short period, it can resist 700°C, and it wont shrink visibly under this temperature. Compared to cotton, it has nearly 3 times heat resistance property And leather glove is sensitive to heat and it shrink once it meet high temperature.
3. Light weight
Kevlar is stronger than many other materials, thus even lighter Kevlar can supply more mechanical strength than other materials.
High strength fiber sewing thread(kevlar, PTFE thread) is made of high temperature resistant and high intensity fiberglass by special technique,also it’s thin and soft.
